Just had to drop a line or two on a great older driver that I grew up rooting for.
My dad would go to Martinsville for one or both of the races each year for years & they would have beers and cig's with Dick at a local bar..... my dad said he always had time for the average joe fan and made a fuss over guy's like my dad and his crew that wore his hat's and shirts.....
hope he's in a better place and the cars are fast and handling well for him.....
